Claiming a listing
This site is free for businesses, and there is no commercial relationship between you and the volunteers who run it: appearing here is not an endorsement and never involves payment. You can request access to manage your own listing through the account request flow. We perform best-effort ownership verification before granting access.
Your responsibility for accuracy
If you manage a listing, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply - your opening hours, contact details, descriptions, and menus. Anything you submit is reviewed by a volunteer before it appears, and we reserve the right to edit, decline, or remove any submission or listing. The review process is focused on acceptability, not accuracy.
Photos & copyright - what you licence to us
You keep full copyright in the photographs, images, and other content you upload. By uploading something to this site you confirm that you have the right to do so, and you grant the site a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to store, display, and use it on this site (including in the site's feeds, maps, and any archive or backup). This licence is needed so we can actually show your content; it doesn't stop you using it anywhere else, and it doesn't let us sell or license it to third parties. Your data may remain on the site's servers or in its archives and backups after you have initiated deletion or made changes but should be removed from public view.
If you don't have the right to upload something (for example, a photo you didn't take), don't upload it. You may remove your photos at any time by asking us to remove the listing or the image, and we'll take them down as described below.
Removing a listing - "do not show my listing"
You can request that your listing be hidden from the site at any time, for any reason. If you manage the listing through an account, use the Hide my listing option on your account page - the change is reviewed and applied promptly. If you don't manage it, contact the volunteers through the help page or the account request flow - or email gdpr@minehead.info - and we'll take it down. "Removed" listings stop appearing everywhere on the site (including search, maps, and the home page) as soon as the request is processed. Some identifying data may remain in order to exclude your data from reappearing as the result of some automated process which could otherwise restore it.
What happens to your data
Information you supply for a listing is published on the public site. Your personal details (account email, login phone number) are used only to run the account and are never published unless you include them as public contact data in your listing. See Privacy & data for the full detail, including how to ask for erasure.
